HOTEL POLICY
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIME
• Standard Check-in Time is 1200hrs whereas Standard Check-out Time is 0900hrs whereas timings are flexible for speedboat timings and availability.
• Guests are required to provide passports / IDs (locals/expatriates) for Check-In Registration, a copy of passport will also be viable for the procedure.
• Guests are required to share any additional requests for room at check-in and also special requirements including but not limited to allergies, whereas the guest house will not be liable for any damages caused without prior notice of these circumstances
• Guest is required to provide departure information, including departure flight information or next hotel / island transfer and their check-in time for pre-arrangement of transport. Guest House will do its best to make arrangements however cannot promise last minute departure requests especially during high-season.
• Guests shall do their best to maintain sustainability and eco-friendly practices, where the host of the guest house shall advise.
• All rooms are given the opportunity of daily cleaning, whereas full mandatory clean-up and sheet change is required every 3 days from arrival.
• Any damages to the structure of the property, furnishing, fittings and linens of the rooms will be charged to the guest at check-out
• Smoking is not permitted inside the rooms, but is allowed in balconies and garden area.
• Guests are required to complete all pending payments before Check-in to avoid last minute disruptions
• No Pets allowed in the rooms, including House / Stray Cats on the island. Feeding any of these cats inside the hotel is not permissible for the consideration of every guest in the guest house.
ISLAND POLICY
• All Restaurants will close latest by 0000hrs and would open earliest by 0800hrs, whereas Shops will be open between 0900hrs – 2300hrs and would be closed for 30-60 minutes after every prayer call from the mosque. (Average Closed Between 1200-1300 / 1500 -1600 / 1800 – 2000)
• All Local Islands in the Maldives including Rasdhoo, practice Islam as their religion therefore, disrespecting the customs and cultures of the island will not be considered acceptable behavior. This includes but not limited to;
o Both men and women wearing revealing clothes (torso and above knee should be covered for both men and women) in the township of the island especially near mosques. (Not applicable to Tourist-Designated Beaches)
o Playing loud music near to the mosque or during prayer call times.
o Late night loud music and partying in the township of the island (not applicable to Bikini Beach)
• Alcohol is NOT PERMITTED on the island jurisdiction. Guests can visit the resorts nearby to consume Alcohol however cannot bring Alcohol on the island, nor would Alcohol be served on the island.
• Any forms of narcotics (except tobacco or vape) is not allowed on the island or in the country. This includes but not limited to Cannabis (and its forms) or any Synthetic Drugs.
• If a guest has any issue with any local or local party, please report immediately to the guest house host. Any disagreements with locals should be handled in the presence of the guest house to avoid any scams, misrepresentations or fraud.
EXCURSIONS & SAFETY
• All Guests are required to undergo a briefing of Island Policy, Rules and Guidelines
• All Guests are required to undergo a Snorkeling Safety Briefing prior to Snorkeling in the House Reef
• All Guests are required to undergo an Excursion Safety Briefing prior to any excursions arranged by the hotel or by any other third party. Any third party Diving, Snorkelling or any activity MUST be informed to the hotel reception.
• Excursion availability can depend on change in weather patterns, therefore hotel will not be responsible for any cancellations due to weather changes, whereas if any pre paid excursions shall be refunded if cancelled due to natural circumstances.
• Excursions that do not reach the minimum pax specified will be charged Full-trip rate. Hotel will try to merge and open excursions to other parties in a case where trip does not reach minimum pax.
• Hotel will ensure, contacting local divers and other excursion goers of the prime hotspots of targeted species however, considering excursions visit natural habitats of marine species.
• Excursion trips will be billed separate to the room bill and is preferable to be paid in Cash.
• All Guests will be provided with safety briefing prior to any excursions organized by the hotel, whereas the hotel will not be liable for any incidents occurred due to guests disobeying these protocols.
• All Guests are REQUIRED to follow the snorkeling and other relevant laws with regard to the protection of the natural ecosystems including but not limited to marine species, endangered species, coral reefs and natural formations, whereas if any of these laws are not abided by even with prior or onsite warning shall be fined or reported to the authorities.
• In addition to the foregoing, Guests are not allowed to touch, disturb or remove any living marine life including but not limited to endangered marine life, coral reefs, shells, rocks or even sand. All guests are required by LAW to swim 30ft from all marine life especially turtles, mantas and sharks.
• Littering or waste disposal at any of these excursion points can also be considered as an act of disturbing or damaging the Maldivian ecosystem.
• All Guests are REQURED to wear life-vests at all excursions. Hotel will not be liable to any damages caused due to disobedience or removal of lifejacket by the guest themselves.
• Hotel has the right to ban guests from excursions due to continued misdemeanors as stated above.
